FIMS 400 Flow Injection Mercury Analyzer

The FIMS 400 is a small mercury analyzer incorporating a flow injection system for cold vapor mercury atomic absorption (AA). It contains two peristaltic pumps and high-performance optics with a low-pressure Hg lamp and solar-blind detector for increased sensitivity. Automatic baseline offset correction (B.O.C.) provides reliable short and long-term baseline stability. The control electronics and internal power supply are both based on surface-mounted device (SMD) technology, and the system is controllable by an industry-standard personal computer operating Syngistix for AA software. The configuration is suited to applications demanding high accuracy and automated analysis.
