FORMACS Series Protein / Nitrogen Analyzer
The FORMACS Series analyzers are designed for fast and precise Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Total Nitrogen (TN) analysis of environmental matrices in a broad variety. These high-temperature catalytic combustion systems deliver efficient carbon and nitrogen analysis with clean and particle-containing liquid sample handling options. The FORMACS HT model can perform TC, IC, TOC, NPOC, POC, and DOC analysis, while the FORMACS HT-I is used for direct injection of the sample in suspensions. The FORMACS TN model also uses chemiluminescence detection (CLD) for precise TN measurement, a substitute for the traditional Kjeldahl nitrogen analysis method and a safer one at that. The series can be extended further for TOC analysis in solid samples with the PRIMACS MCS add-on module.
