Portable Hardness Testers with UCI & Rebound Technique - SONODUR 3

SONODUR 3 is a hardened, field-portable hardness tester built for rugged industrial use. Its smartphone-like size and extended battery life make it suitable to be used continuously in the field. It supports both UCI (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) and Leeb rebound testing principles. UCI probes are available in a number of configurations in the form of hand-held, motor, and tripod types with a number of loading options. The rebound sensors utilize wireless connections in the form of Bluetooth. Its Android platform allows for extensive extension, and the software can conduct hardness testing even in areas that are not accessible. Designed for production quality control and incoming inspection, the device is also suitable for surface-treated metals, mobile weld seam inspection, and fine-grained material hardness evaluation.
