QUINTIC SONIC 7

QuintSonic 7 is the first-of-its-kind ultrasonic-based coating thickness gauge for the measurement of up to five different layers simultaneously. The gauge accurately measures coatings of polymers like paint, lacquer, and plastic on substrates such as plastic, metal, wood, glass, and ceramic. Utilizing ultrasonic pulse run-time technology and digital 32-bit signal processing (SIDSP®), the product allows precise measurement of multilayer systems such as those on GFRP and CFRP parts. It is also suitable for wall thickness measurement. The device has an A-scan graphic display with quick, repeatable results and quick calibration. Suitable for use in high-accuracy fields such as automotive and aerospace industries, it delivers stable measurement outputs even in challenging environments and is particularly ideal for laboratory, shop floor, or on-site use.
