SONO H is a durable, hand-held UCI hardness test probe that is ideal for use on a daily basis. It has a hardened stainless-steel casing that resists corrosion to provide durability. The probe operates on the principle of Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) to provide consistent hardness testing. It covers the full Vickers range and is ideal for testing metals, industrial ceramics, and certain cast iron products. The probe offers great reproducibility, quick measurement time, and minimal test pressure and is therefore low-destructive. It is suited for mobile hardness testing in every environment, i.e., inspection of incoming goods, production, or field test.
