Testing Machines Inc. Digital Ink Rub Tester 10-20 is designed to test rubbing or scuffing resistance to ASTM D5264, better referred to as the Sutherland Rub Test. It is utilized in testing printed material durability in terms of printed labels and cartons by considering ink transfer, along with rubbing and abrasion resistance under test conditions. It can conduct dry rub, wet rub, wet bleed, wet smear, and functional rub testing. There is an optional heated weight for hot abrasion testing. This one versatile instrument maintains products' looks and integrity through mimicking true-world friction and wear, generating consistent results for quality control and production monitoring.
