TG-GC/MS

The TG-GC/MS system integrates thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS), allowing for the detection of very low levels of materials, both known and unknown, in complex mixtures. It works by heating a sample, releasing volatile or gaseous components, and transferring them to the GC for separation. The peaks are identified through mass spectrometry. The system also offers the flexibility to switch between multiple modes for enhanced analysis, improving research efficiency and accuracy.
