ZwickRoell & Amsler Drop Weight Testers

ZwickRoell and Amsler falling weight testers are used for high-energy impact testing, fracture surface analysis, and multiaxial impact testing. The testers test materials such as ferritic steels, plastics, and parts, reproducing actual stress conditions. They meet standards including API-RP 5L3, DIN EN 10274, and ASTM E436. The testers accommodate energy up to 2000 joules with adjustable drop heights up to 5 meters. They provide consistent, repeatable measurements for many materials and components, even in extreme conditions or in temperature-controlled environments.
